A brick is a building material used to make walls, pavements and other elements in masonry construction. Bricks have been produced on a large scale in China ever since the Western Zhou dynasty 3,000 years ago. Bricks are composed of clay-bearing soil, in a rectangular unit and laid with mortar for buildings.
We reclaim old clay bricks from demolished factories, mills, schools and houses which are 30 to 80 years old. Salvaged bricks were inconsistently handmade in the past, so the dimensions may vary slightly from piece to piece, tolerance ± 5mm. Many years of weathering gives them the mellow and restful look, so attractive if used for a pub wall or garden features.
